  8. Could someone please summarise the discussion on the application
  9. shortcut file?

  11. Will there be only one global file, or one file per application? Using
  12. one file for 'normal' shortcuts (Open, Quit etc etc) would be useful,
  13. and the application-specific file could have extra information in it
  14. for that app only, like license keys, or any settings information that
  15. is needed.

  17. Will it (they) be in a standard directory, or pointed to by an
  18. environment variable? Suggestion: locate the file(s) using shel_find()
  19. if possible, then an environment variable if possible, then a specific
  20. directory if possible.
